How the f*** do I wake myself in the morning?

Ooooft I am angry-.-
I have so much trouble getting up in the morning and it’s got to the point where I don’t know what to do.
I have approx 8 hours sleep which I find is enough, and don’t tell me I need more because I have tried having more sleep and it doesn’t work.
I don’t have trouble getting to sleep so that’s not a problem.
The thing is… when I wake up to my alarm, I go straight back to sleep.

My failed technique:

Setting 8 alarms in the morning, on the opposite side of the room,
Eating an energy tablet and chewing gum in the morning(i thought the strength of the smell of the minty chewing gum should wake me up)
Waking up and getting my headphones and blasting loud music(works, but I don’t remember to do it, i just go back to sleep-.-)
Jumping straight in the shower(it would work but I don’t do it I just fall straight back asleep)
Purchasing a flying alarm clock(as soon as I turn it off I get back into bed)
Setting my alarm a little later

I have tried more things but I can’t list them all..

So… how do I get myself up? I end up missing the bus every day because I have woken up late… i have nothing left to do! Please help 10 points!xoxoxoxoxo
Yes I am getting up to turn it off, but then I get straight back into bed:(
My alarm clock is extremely loud and annoying, but It doesn’t wake me up enough and I jump back into bed.
And I do set alarms 2 minutes in between each, but I just keep turning them off!

I need a way to get me UP in the morning. Are there any accountability web sites out there to help me?

My sleep cycle has been WAY off for too long. Once I graduated and left my school-year job, I’ve fallen into that horrible stay-up-till-3am-sleep-until-early afternoon. This is a mix of mild and treated anxiety-depression and laziness. When the alarm goes off, I think of a million reasons to stay asleep, and do. Short of hiring someone to pull me from bed, are there any "accountability" web sites or groups would pair me with someone?

I’ve already tried every prescription sleeping pill out there.

My problem is that once I wake up in the afternoon, I feel incredibly lazy and can’t get much work done. I need to get out of this mindset ASAP, and the first start is getting me out of bed. I think being accountable to someone, even a virtual someone, would be a tremendous help. Advice? (please no "just get up" – I am way beyond that. The flying alarm clock didn’t work – I think I need SOMEONE to report to in order to force myself out of bed.

odd request, I know. I’m desperate
My diet and exercise is perfect. I have a cup of coffee as soon as I wake up, and then no more caffeine. I eat mostly egg whites (for protein) and spinach/lettuce, lots of berries, and quinoa as my whole grains. I tried a glass of wine before bed, but it just resulted in several bathroom trips.

I am scheduled for a sleep study as soon as my insurance decides to cover it.

i am having trouble getting up in the morning..?

well first off. my bed is like 4.5 feet off the ground. huge, but keep that in mind.

i set my regular alarm clock which is all the way across the room, and i also set 2 alarms on my cell phone. i will get out of my huge bed to hit the snooze button and climb back up to go back to sleep.. i do this sometimes for 2 hours before i actually get up!!

any ideas besides the stupid flying alarm clock, runaway clock, or sonic boom clock? ive already seen those… THANKS!


Have you seen the flying alarm clock? experiences?

My husband wants a flying alarm clock for christmas and i’ve seen it at target and in action on youtube and it seems pretty obnoxious… have you seen it or tried it? what did you think?
