A helicopter just flew low over my house .. we heard the transmission on my daughter's new am/fm alarm clock?
why is this? .. never happened before .. for the record it’s a hot wheels slam alarm ..
Thanks ..
.. good answers .. first time it ever happened .. and they usually fly pretty low around here so it scared us all for a sec .. I was afraid they would have problems on their radio end too!
Annoying alarm clock?
I need to buy my flatmate an alarm clock because he is always sleeping through his one which is only on his mobile. I want a novelty/funny clock that is unusual but will do the job. I have seen alarm clocks that fly away etc etc to make it harder to turn off thus there is no chance of sleeping in with these sorts of alarms. If anyone can suggest a site or a clock its self that would be of use here
thanks x
What is an Alarm Clock That will acctually get me up?
I have slept thorough Every alarm clock (if not I get used to them in like a day or 2)
Those beepy ones
The ones with the dual bells
the Sonic Boom with bed vibrator
My iPhone and iPad
4 people lifting up my bed (true story)
Alarm clocks across the room
I would get the shakeawake except I cant find them
I will not get those ones with wheels or the ones that fly or the laser pointer one because I wont hear them
What else can I try
Thanks!

Is there a poltergeist in my house?
Hey guys, so i’m a 15 year old female. (turning 16) And, for the longest time i’ve believed my house was haunted.. i’d hear things, and not only hear, but see.. Such as i witnessed a candle stick fly across the room once, when one of my other friends were living with us at one point. (Reason i mention that is because i heard poltergeists feed off of energy, and she was a very troubled person) Anyhow, so i was out of the house for 2 weeks. I came back last night, my mom said NOTHING happened when i was gone. Last night i went to bed, and i had the feeling i was being watched, i seen a Shadow go by the hall and my rabbit freaked right out, he was stomping and throwing things ALL night. I could NOT sleep. Anyhow this morning my mom wakes me, and she’s like.. "wanna hear something freaky?" So she tells me that last night she heard a woman’s voice, so she assumed it was her phone and pressed end. Then all of a sudden her phone rings and she answers it, and it’s 911 saying that she called them, she didn’t say anything, she just dialed it.. For my moms phone there are many steps to call someone she would have had to press 7 buttons in total.. So i was a bit freaked out, and my mom also said she felt like she was being watched, and she felt as if someone was standing right around the corner constantly.. So when my mom told me this and she left i had a bit of an anxiety attack then all of a sudden, my motion censored alarm clock beeps.. For this thing to beep, you have to wave your hand directly over it. When it beeped i turned around, and nothing was around it. What do you guys think?
That’s actually a good idea, i should set up a video camera.
I will try not to raise to much hype! I’m usually a very calm person, i don’t go out partying etc. I just sit down read do whatever. Usually ghost stuff doesn’t freak me out, But this. is scaring me Just because there isn’t that "oh it’s not real" when you’re watching it on t.v.. And Even my mom’s getting scared, and i’ve never seen her freaked out, she’s in the military. Hard to scare this woman.
How much peanut butter would it take to shingle your roof?
Your friend accidentally pulls the big plug in the bath tub so then your magic tortoise starts to eat your ugly parakeet you yell at the hobo it your garage to get a place to live when he starts to fly around the kitchen saying meow. Then your alarm clock starts to get naked and run around outside screaming that Tom Cruise took his clothes off because he’s on fire. So how much peanut butter does it take to shingle your roof?
What do I need to know about airport security?
Me and my little sister are going to visit our grandparents (flying as minors) and I have heard nothing but horror stories about airport security (they thought my friend’s alarm clock was a bomb). We usually fly in our own plane but since our parents aren’t going we have to fly commercial. How many carry-ons are we allowed? I want to bring my laptop which requires my own bag, but I guess I could put that in my suitcase. I was planning on bringing my messenger bag on the plane to carry my iPad, iPod, and a mobile hotspot. Am I going to have to dump all this stuff out of my bag to get through security?

I am trapped under language
From words I can’t part
The pen’s glued to my hand
The pen’s pierced through my heart.
Computer screen eyes
Carboard for a mouth
Behind tacked-on lies
To conceal ancient doubts
My innoncence- stale
Grew old sitting there
Yet, "I’m too young to worry"
Too naive to care.
But I’m not- can’t you see?
That man on TV
Spits politics like venom
To my fragile body.
Religion calls me
Late into the night
To remind me I’m stupid
Too weak for the light.
My alarm clock goes off
So I fall into sleep
Into my real life
My freshwater dreams.
Mortality buzzes
Like a fly in my ear
But when I swat at the truth
Only I disappear.
Can you control your dreams?
I really love when I realize the fact that I am dreaming, and so I become in control of my dreams and get to do all sorts of crazy things that I woudn’t and couldn’t really do in real life! For example, I can make myself fly around, or walk through walls, or I imagine a person in front of me that I like and am to shy to admit in person… and then I do crazy things to them… HAHAHA!
But seriously, are there other people out there who have these crazy moments? And if yes, then what is it that you usually do once you realize you’re dreaming?
I usually think: "I hope I have enough time to do all the things I want before the alarm clock goes off or my mom wakes me up! "
